Bryan Forrest

It was an honor to do the photo shoot for musician Bryan Forrest who was producing his 2009 album, PROVERBIAL SHINE. We shot this at sunset in Yorktown, Virginia at the Riverwalk section under the Coleman Bridge along the York River. The result were brand-able images of Brian for his CD art and photos that reflect his music and approachable style.

Lucy

I met Lucy somewhat before she was born... her mother Jill was pregnant with her and was a choirmate of mine at my church. Since then Lucy has been the center of smiles during our practices and services. She even sings out loud in tune with the choir.

Our shoot took place in Fort Monroe, VA across the way from the charming little lighthouse. We had wonderful weather and a great breeze which the family dog also liked. It was a nice challenge to get everyone smiling but I think we accomplished that mission.

Rachel Berry

Rachel Berry is an author based out of Newport News whose novel "Family Pictures" debuted this past June 2009. She is getting ready to do more book signings and speaking engagements and we are collaborating on a couple of projects together. I am very thrilled to have met this vibrant and goal oriented woman. She also is involved with several women's groups in the area that empower and motivate individuals.

You can pick up a copy of her novel at: www.LuLu.com/RachelBerry

Mitzi LaPaugh was our wonderful makeup artist. Her son also joined us in our photo session at City Center in Newport News. We will be planning another shoot with his wife and 2 gorgeous kids.

Marybeth

I love black and white shots and this is one of my latest faves. Marybeth is a great woman with a wonderful attitude towards life. She loves to dance and it shows in her posture and grace. We started the shoot with a casual everyday look and then progressed to a more fashionable statement ending in a fun purple dress. Mitzi LaPaugh was the makeup artist on hand and the makeup was created to match each look.

Jasmine

A very spunky and cute girl... we had a blast shooting her portraits at City Center in Newport News. The weather was perfect and she gave me her natural smiles and personality. We shot 2 outfits, both pretty casual and her mother informed me she picked it out herself.

This shot is my favorite from the bunch. I colorized it for extra pop, but her laid back friendliness is really what draws me into the shot.
